1 on 1 Training

Review information on how to host a training and steps to take.

Adherence to the trainer guide is of utmost importance. Failure to comply may lead to a demotion. It is imperative that you uphold professionalism and consistently employ correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar throughout the duration of this training.

• When everyone is teleported to the staff briefing room and the host begins the introduction, your task is to locate a suitable location for hosting your training. Ensure that this location is separate from other training groups.

• When your trainees are teleported, you should commence your introduction below.

 Welcome to your training session. I'll be your trainer today, and I'm here to help you become a valuable staff member at Seattle Roleplay.

Please remain respectful and refrain from disrupting or arguing with other trainees or trainers; doing so will result in termination.

Section 1:

Section 1: Make your way over to the Discoard and click on the 'Trial Guide' channel. Let me know when you're there.

Great! Now that you're there, you will see a link that goes to the trainee guide. If you can see that, let me know.

Great! Now, please proceed to click on the guide. After doing so, you will have 5 minutes to read the guide. When you begin reading the guide, please type 'read' in chat.

Trainees will be allotted a 5-minute window to review the guide. If, within this timeframe, they do not return to request an extension or confirm their completion, it is necessary to take the appropriate action of removing them from the training server.

Section 2: We will cover aspects related to driving and various additional topics.

At the sheriff's department, we have a strict policy in place regarding training groups. We can only accommodate one training group at a time to ensure no confusion and efficiency of the training process. Therefore, it is essential that you carefully double-check before teleporting your trainees to the sheriff's department's location.

Driving skills play a significant role in our staff, as it is essential to ensure that you are proficient in driving.

While driving a staff vehicle, you are required to adhere to traffic laws, which encompass using turn signals, stopping at red lights and stop signs, among other regulations.

In this section, we will be assessing your driving skills. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know.

Please proceed to switch to the sheriff team, put on the sheriff uniform, and wait outside, lined up on the sidewalk, shoulder to shoulder.

During this driving section, you will spawn in a staff vehicle. Do not do it until I say go.

You will drive from here to the gun store, following all traffic laws.

Staff vehicles include a variety of options, such as the Falcon Interceptor Utility, Falcon Interceptor Sedan, and Dodge Prancer Pursuit.

Do you know how to professionally navigate to the city gun store?

Feel free to spawn your staff vehicle and wait for further instructions.

I will be riding in your staff vehicle, evaluating your driving.

You can start driving once you have arrived. You should then park your vehicle backwards and stand in front of it.

Good job, on the driving section. Please hold.

Alert the host that you're done with your training group by either teleporting to them or informing them in the Discord server admin chat. After all training groups have finished, everyone will be teleported back to the briefing room for scenarios. After the training host says, 'Trainees, you may go out the back door and proceed with your part. Trainers, please wait,' you are to go out the back door, which can be found in the briefing room. An image will be provided below. If there are four trainers online, every two trainers will take one trainee. It is required to have two trainers per one trainee during scenarios. Ensure to split up at the back of the police station to create some room for scenarios and maintain a spacious area.

After going to the back of the police station, line up shoulder to shoulder professionally. Teleport your first trainee to you and then say the messages below.

Hello and welcome to the scenarios section. You will be evaluated by us, the trainers, to see how you perform in different scenes.

I will give you moderation permissions in-game. You will then proceed to respond to me when you see a mod call in the left buttom corner above your mini-map.

You will be acting as a moderator, which means you have no ban permissions during the scenarios. If you need to kick a user, please say '-kicks-' in chat instead of using the kick command.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask right now. If not, we will get started.

You will proceed to move away from the trainee and prepare for the scenarios. After reading each scenario, you are to perform the scenario with the trainee by calling a mod and observing how they perform.

1. As a player, you call a moderator with the intention of RDM-ing them. Evaluate their performance based on how they handle the situation. (You are the player)

2. A player contacts a moderator to inform them of their intention to raid the server. (You are the player.) Assess their performance based on how they handle the situation.

Come up with a simple yet interesting situation for a moderator, and then judge how well they handle it, considering what they do, how they communicate, and their problem-solving abilities.

Unfortunately, you have failed this training session, which means you need to reapply for staff.

If a trainee fails their training, ensure to request an HR to remove their trial moderator roles immediately. As for the rest of you, make sure to remove them from the training group immediately, unmod them in the game server, and kick them. If a trainee passes, make sure to remove them from the training group, unmod them in the game, kick them, and request an HR to assign their role. If you have any notes for the failed or passed trial mod on what they can work on in the future, please ensure to let them know.
