We have a priority system for handling high-response police calls. This system ensures that law enforcement can focus on one situation rather than multiple scenes. When a priority is active, no other incidents such as hostage situations, robberies, or pursuits should be occurring.
Priority System Explained:
You receive a call from a player who wants to conduct a hostage scene. They must have their people with them and already be set up for the scene.
When they are set up, ensure that no major roleplays are already occurring in police RTO (traffic stops do not count). If there are any pursuits ongoing, do not give them permission.
Log the priority through Melonly. If you are wondering how to log it, you can find specific instructions in a
After logging it, you can use the in-game command 2000. The time must be the same, and do not change anything in the command's text.
You need to announce the priority. You can find the message in the messages document. The message will be :m message.
You then need to go to the police RTO and announce the message. Below, it says 'police RTO message,' and then under it is the message you put in the channel.

Police RTO Message:
Do not copy the entire thing and paste it in. You have to edit it to ensure it's the correct message. If it's a hostage situation, you need to put 'hostage' and delete 'kidnapping' and 'robbery' out of the message. Do not use brackets.
Example text will be: There's currently a priority hostage situation at postal 343. All units, please respond and break off your current scene.'
