Guidance
Information regarding our staff expectations and what we expect from you.
At Seattle, our staff is expected to consistently uphold our core values, which include but are not limited to integrity, respect, determination, honesty, and excellence. If a staff member violates these values, they will face consequences. Staff members are also expected to adhere to the same rules as regular members, and they will be subject to the same disciplinary measures. Furthermore, we expect our staff team to collaborate effectively, ensuring smooth operations and preventing any issues from becoming public concerns.
1.0 Professionalism
While on duty or handling tickets, ensure you use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. For example, don't type, 'How may I help you?' Use commas, periods, etc.
Do not create drama in any channels or VCs within Seattle Roleplay. Ensure to remain respectful at all times as you represent Seattle.
Handle mod calls thoroughly. Listen to both sides of the story. Witnesses are not accepted; proof must be provided.
Being biased towards members is strictly prohibited, and it will lead to termination. All members should be treated the same and fairly.
Abusing power or misusing commands is not acceptable and will be dealt with accordingly.
1.2 Game Procedures
While on duty, adhere to our avatar policy: use a blocky avatar without unrealistic effects, accessories. Keep it realistic and avoid excessive additions.
While on break, you must despawn your staff vehicle and remove your staff uniform.
While on duty, you must be actively moderating. Avoid remaining parked for extended periods; if there are no mod calls, you may conduct Discord checks.
There must be 20 or more players in the game in order for you to be on duty, in a staff vehicle, and in uniform. You can still punish people if there are fewer than 20 players.
If you are an admin, you can moderate 50/50 of the time. However, you must prioritize mod calls over roleplaying.
We have a 30-minute kick timer. Before kicking a player, you must inform them not to rejoin until 30 minutes have passed.
Please ensure that you utilize commands consisting of four or more letters, such as ':to dree’
If you are in-game and the server is chaotic, you must clock on duty and prioritize moderating over roleplaying.
Provide detailed descriptions of the punishments, such as for offenses like NITRP, Mass RDM, VDM, trolling, etc. Ensure to log everything immediately after taking action.
If you are an admin, ensure to complete banning individuals listed in the Bolo (Be On the Lookout) list as soon as you enter the game, so it doesn't pile up.
Using commands off duty is unacceptable. If you are not moderating, you aren't allowed to use commands.
1.3 General
The quota is 4 hours. We ask that you aim for more than 4 hours if possible and be active throughout the week, rather than accumulating hours at the end of the week.
Ensure to follow the chain of command; you must go through the rank hierarchy.
Do not argue with HRs. Comply with everything they say. If you feel it's unfair, submit a management ticket.
A senior moderator and above may create custom :m and :h messages. You can also receive permission from HR to create a custom message if you are not a senior moderator.
Junior moderators are allowed to use the 2014 Chevlon Corvette TZ. Senior moderators can access the 2021 Takeo Experience. Junior Admins have access to the 2017 Avantismo R8, while Senior Admins have access to the 2023 Chevlon Corvette 8. HRs have access to all exotics.
As part of the administration, you are required to complete trainings and ride-alongs when needed, or at least attempt to do so. Failure to abide by this rule will result in removal from the administration team.
